color.
i am sick of our white walls!!! i love color. i think that’s why i’m not so cheery and happy at home.. there are no colors! i miss our last apartment. we had most of our walls painted. we didnt need any wall art…it was a place that made me feel happy and comfortable. now… all i see is white. over the last few months i have even added lots of very colorful photos to our walls but it doesn’t do anything for me. it still looks bland hanging on such a bare wall.
all my life i would always have bright, beautiful colors on my walls. i would change my wall colors once or twice a year. i am really frustrated and so tempted to just paint it one day. i just wish paint wasnt so expensive. i have some leftover paint in our garage but i doubt it’ll be enough to cover a full wall. i was going through all my pictures on my phone and saw pix of our old colorful apartment. it just made our furniture and everything stand out and look homey. i really, really miss it. if anybody has any lowes or home depot gift cards or store credit you dont want….**sticking my hand out** i wouldn’t mind using it! hahah.
i am hoping by my birthday or by the beginning of summer our walls will be painted. if you think about it, painting walls will probably be a lot cheaper than buying art.
i have some ideas of how i want our place to look. i might use the same color palette that we had in our previous apartment, but i have some other ideas of how to enhance our walls. i am also thinking of changing our layout again. i get bored easily and love to change our furniture around as well. change is good. haha.
I miss our old apartment too. I guess I miss our pink walls. Hehe jk. I like having color on our walls too. Maybe we can paimt it in the near future. Who knows right? Let’s rearrange our furniture how it was before? I think the tv is too far. Makes it seem smaller. Feel me?
I want to come over soon! The apartment looks nice without the painted walls.
dont paint the whole wall – just a bit so it’ll just make it come out – plus u might have the itch to move again. hay naku. . .
haha, mom. will you help us move next time? maybe we’ll be higher than the third floor next time! haha. we want to start saving for a house soon. that’s our next goal. if life let’s us, we’d like to move into our own house here in ailso viejo or laguna niguel and then years later maybe start a family. house first. actually…. masters in business and some traveling first (while we’re saving), then house. hehe. wish us luck!
